    @Dark_Knight Probably all airlines have banned those hoverboard things with exploding batteries, and thuss also Onewheels...

    @Dark_Knight Since the fear is that it will explode, you won't be able to bring it on the plane at all. You'll have to ship it, or buy a new one to keep in each city you travel to until the ban is (hopefully) lifted someday.

    @Dark_Knight I hear you man. I had to fly out to Idaho recently to visit my wife's family, and had to be without my OW for a week. It was hell, especially considering I saw a million places I would've loved to ride while I was there.

    @thegreck well i just sent an email to support and they gave me some documents that said may help in proving to the airlines that yours is safe so it's worth a shot however i would hit up the airlines before hand about it... like don't wait until you're already in line.

    @J-Glide I most definitely will also i need to talk to you about that fender.

    @Dark_Knight

    Here's the stinky part.
    Sometime they let you take it and on the way back, they won't.
    Could be another ass on the other side who take his job too seriously.

    I've read about couple people who had to leave their electric skateboard behind and had to arrange shipment.

    I drove to Richmond this week and hauled my E-Twow and OW and never looked back.
    Boy do they come handy for local cruising.

    Anytime I could drive, I'm all game.

    It's those international trips that we can't do much about.

    @sonny123 hmm alright thanks for that i actually hit up the company and they sent me some documents which i'm guessing will help in proving that the OW is safe but it's still up to the airline of course.

    @sonny123 Oh man, I didn't really think about that. You're not just taking a chance when you bring your OW to the airport, you're taking TWO chances (at least)!

    @thegreck

    Wanna hear something funny?

    I had someone sending me a G-Shock watch from New Zealand.

    They told her to ship it, it's $80 with battery and $40 without.

    I told her to just claim it is toy/gift.

    Then it was $12.

    Very odd.

    @bmtka Got an EV to 3 prong adapter that puts out 240V from an ebay seller and it works great for me and my crew. The PlugShare App and website both point to EV chargers that are free or paid https://www.ebay.com/itm/Electric-Vehicle-EV-Charger-J1772-Adapter-to-Onewheel-Bicycle-Scooter-Laptop/274520865606?hash=item3feab7fb46:g:PwAAAOSwuoZfekSS

    @FloatFar it's a shame that you still need to also carry around the onewheel charger with that adapter :(
