No, but I broke my arm and got knocked out with concussion only 3 hours after owning my boards...not to worry, I know what I did wrong! I let the power get too low and ignored the signs.

@jim are you fucking kidding me? You broke your arm too? I'm not so much worried about the arm as I am losing all that ride time! How did you ever survive? lol... Seriously though, glad you guys are ok and weren't more seriously hurt.

@MichaelW Yes I survived and only had to take 6 weeks off from riding while the bones in my arm fused back together. Since the accident I have purchased two additional boards so now I can triple my fun!

@veryous, @MichaelW and @jim, Thank God I was wearing my noodle protector... I'm pretty sure, I would not be able to type had I not had it on! It left a huge pavement mark on my helmet about 4" round... At least my two boys (age 10 and 21) are getting good use and learning cool tricks... doc said out for three weeks, although I have to get an MRI this week.

Nice 180s there man, I'm going to have to try that ... on grass. Not brave enough for concrete!

I had to quit trying tricks this weekend after the board flipped over and the rail hit my right shin putting a nice cut into it. I was trying to land a jump 180 twist at the time. I had actually landed this twice about a month ago but that session ended when I landed funky and was worried about twisting my ankle.

I've stopped tricks for now too.

I kept trying to learn to do 180's after this post but kept eating shit. I finally jammed my arm so hard in the pavement that the joint at my elbow is still sore five days later. After one already screwed up knee - not onewheel related (ortho visit Friday) then jacking up my other knee flying off a curb way too fast almost two weeks ago and spraining that knee, I've calmed down a lot. I'm putting all this shit on hold till I find softer spots to land and am all healed. I'd rather not hurt myself more and risk me having surgery and selling my board. <-- this is what getting old sounds like.

@Franky, try that playground soft material that's like a dense yoga mat. @J-glide has a post on it with a picture of him riding. That's where I was trying the jump 180's and that stuff is also awesome to carve on.

Went to the grass tonight and managed a full 5.5 degrees. Out of 180, that's not bad! Only 173.5 degrees to go. Can barely ride switch, clearly more practice needed.

@MichaelW, awesome handstand vid but carrying the woman over the head not so much....way too risky for that lady! I guess no harm, no foul.

@franky FYI: That guy and that girl are professional acrobats and performers. They have worked together before. It's not I would let any random person do that!! :)
