    @germx: how many km or miles do you have on that tire?

    I've been getting a fair amount of glass fragments pretty deep in my tires lately when riding in new areas and wondering if I'll eventually get a puncture that will lead to a leak. I've never had a leak from pebbles, but the glass pieces are much sharper and tend to do in deeper.

    @utsu well, on my way back home there are quite a few place where drunk people tend to litter the street with shattered beer bottles.. i've ridden over a fair amount of glass fragments the past few months and initially i was afraid too. but i haven't had an issue so far. #thumbsup #fingerscrossed doesn't change the fact that i'd like to have a word with these idiots. fines for littering are quite high here.. about 100 dollar per cigarette end..

    Did you reslime the new tire, or does it come pre-slimed?

    Slime makes a shit mess when changing the tire.
    Before I took it to the tire shop, I slit it open and emptied it as much as I could.
    Still, guy made a mess while changing the tire.

    haven't reslimed mine. If I get a puncture, then I'll slime it.

    Changing the tire again is way easier than the first time.
    I did a quick video.

    @sonny123 youre doing unnecessary steps.. center bolt doesn't have to be loosened .. and that small plate holding the cable in doesn't have to come off either..

    @njcustom

    If you're changing the tire yourself, no need to remove the blocks.
    But since I took it to a tire shop, I prefer to remove them.
    it takes couple minutes.

    I guess there are different ways of doing it.
    This time around was way easier for me.
