@westcoastr yea id go local. When I calculated the cost of the board into CAD and then added tax, duties, and shipping it would have cost just roughly 2600 after it was all said and done. When I bought retail it came down to 2200. Theres a few located close to you and I believe one or two on the island. Give them a call and ask them how much they sell them for. If they sell for more then make the trip to Edmonton and buy one here.

@juts Paying tax twice makes ordering less attractive for sure. My local guy charges $2100; somehow it just feels over the top... I'm sure all the retailers are similar.

@westcoastr yea its expensive for us but I find it worth it. Still saves us money and until our dollar gets on par with american its the best way to go.

Im in Pennsylvania too and i drove all the way to Annapolis Maryland to a shop called east of maui to pick mine up got iy for 1499 exactly. Was about a week ago and its the best investment ive ever made!

@westcoastr yea I think my feet, legs, and hips have gotten stronger in the last couple of months since getting the onewheel. My wife and I ride so much that we are always sore. I'd recommend getting a fender if you haven't already. My wife's board has one and it still looks absolutely new even though we ride in pretty wet conditions. I'm waiting for one of "njcustoms" badass carbon fiber fenders now!

@donny-h I had such a good ride today... Feeling tired and really happy! Good advice about the fender; lots of debris on the board from the wet streets yesterday.

@westcoastr Its definitely one of my goals. Im going to try for Van, Van Island and Rupert this summer to get some shots. Rupert will be touch and go because of all the rain they get but heres hoping
