    One thing for sure.
    When you take OW apart and see how well it's built, you gain more confidence in it.
    Also, it does help to know how to maintain/fix it,
    rather than having to send it in for every issue.

    @sonny123 Oh, for sure. I won't be out of warranty until the end of next February, though. As soon as that happens, I'm tearing right into it.

    The idea of voiding the warranty on a $1500 toy doesn't sit well with me.

    EDIT: I might feel differently, but mine has that thing where you have to press the power button to start charging. Nothing else seems to be amiss other than sometimes inaccurate battery level reporting toward the end of a charge. I'm going to wait until the weather goes to shit in November to contact support assuming nothing else goes wrong.

    I was looking at this one for off road/pump track, it's a little smaller diameter so you'll get some extra torque/pickup and traction. Since I primarily ride on concrete I didn't want to swap back and forth...

    @parrothd

    Yep, that's something I'd like to experiment with.
    But changing the tire, while a fairly easy process, I'm not sure I'd want to go through the hassle.
    But it'll be interesting to see how it performs for sure.

    @parrothd That's a rain tire. Would work horribly and turn to putty on hot, dry pavement. Like @njcustom said, it's probably not smart to fuck around with different dimension tires, though that would give you a bit more clearance to the foot pads for gravel that the tread picks up. The mileage reporting is going to be all wrong, too. Nope, not a good idea.

    @njcustom So will this be your second tire change? You know how many miles you put on each tire?

    @njcustom Really? Find someone with an Android running 5.0, install @kwatts app (currently called "pOneWheel" in the Play Store) and report back. I'm super interested to know.

    @parrothd Like I said, it's a rain tire, it's tread is designed to channel water away and stick to the track when when it's cold and wet. I don't see how that would help you at all in the pump track. For packed dirt, slicks are still the way to go. Vega's karting tires for dirt have no tread. For a lot of loose dirt, those channels would probably pack in pretty quickly. The more I think about it, the less I think I need or want tread for 95% of my riding.

    Let us know how it works out for you if you do decide to try it.

    A tread is going to attract large rocks that will jam..

    I agree I think it would cause more issues.

    @Dude @njcustom With extra clearance at the footpad, I can't imagine the treads picking up a true lockup hazard. Still, it's going to be flinging so much more shit up at you. I wouldn't know what to do with that extra torque, either. I think it's torquey enough at the factory ratio, but I'm still fairly noobish compared to most of you guys. That wet weather compound can't be helpful for anything related to our use, though.
