    Also @J-Glide, where did you get your carbon fiber wrap from? I found this guy on ebay - http://www.ebay.com/itm/3D-Carbon-Fiber-Vinyl-Wrap-Sticker-12-x-60-Top-Grade-Bubble-Free-Air-Release-/291289797882 and was hoping his product would work (dimensions).

    @uncbeast5 You can find all kinds of different wraps on Amazon. The standard size seems to be the 12" x 60" which I'm pretty sure is good for like about 3 full wraps (both sides) if you cut it right. I went with that dark blue carbon wrap and it really looks great.

    @uncbeast5 no one has tried to tape yet so we aren't sure. SC720 has the right idea for the wrap.

    @SC720 electric slide is going to be helping me with the new lighting mod. It's nothing cheesy like flashing or multi-colored. It's high end bad ass!

    @j-glide I can't wait to see what you have planned. I have some great Ideas as well to use the EL-tape and perhaps the EL-wire with some other cool custom visual mods. (Just waiting on my board)

    @Dude I grabbed some el wire tape at least to check it out. Its pretty cool but it is a little wide for the frame - it would still look amazing though. Unfortunately all I could find it in is 1 meter lengths so you need 2 strands and 2 controllers to go all around the board. I think it would be cool but I will instead be waiting on @J-Glide and @Electric-Slide to make their move. 2 el wires on the shelf now lol. They are cheap and can always return them.

    Sorry for double post...Actually the el wire tape looks great along the frame if ran around it just under the wood foot pads. Only problem may be how to glue or secure it to the board and still keeping the tape flat, smooth and clean lookin. The tape is super thin so some hot glue under it would make it kind of bubble a bit.

    @SC720 I have seen a way to solder to the EL wire and EL tape but it does take a lot more work to clean up the joints. I have a good idea on how I am going to try it myself when I get my Board. But I am very interested in what @J-Glide is going to do!

    @SC720 I think the EL tape might be self-adhesive. If it's not I'm going to use a double-sided tape I think. I agree with you that the hot glue would cause bubbling issues. I guess we'll just have to see what works best

    @J-Glide I figured the el tape would be self adhesive which would make life easy but unfortunately its not. Will have to maybe try some spray adhesive after I see what your cookin up.

    This is so sick..I'm definitely doing this. Check out this site: link text

    They claim the new 3rd generation el wire is twice as bright as the 2nd generation and when it bends, it holds more of it's shape better so less mounting points. Also they have water resistant and sound activated kits.

    Where is the tutorial?

    @tomtnt said:

    @J-Glide thanks for the inspiration - I just added it to mine...

    question - how do you get the hot glue to stick onto the metal part of the frame? Mine sticks well to the wood plates but won't bind to the aluminum.

    Where is the tutorial?
