    avoid the rain and water at all cost. See my earlier post on problems with water and the front for pad/sensor.

    @EmergenCJ from my experience I haven't had problem riding in a light rain - an I don't go thought deep puddles - there are open holes in the ends of the board so there is a risk albeit a small one in light rain - sorry for the non answer

    @cocoabeachW1 ok - nano protect on the ctroller board and flex seal around the connectors
    After inspecting the battery case it is actually not bad - I just silicone around seam line of the case and the connector - also plugged up the hole with silicone so not much else for the compartment. Will finish up the controller tomorrow , then will reassemble. The only concern I have is the harness wire going into the wheel it self. Need to sleep on that one.

    @cocoabeachW1 going to pott the controller board to tomorrow
    Also plan to use dual wall adhesive shrink wrap on all of the connectors and harnesses to make them water tight. Only thing to figure out is the harness that into the wheel assembly. Going to use shrink wrap on the harness but there a gap where it enters the wheel. Not sure of the best solution is for that . If I can figure that out there would be no problem dunking it in The ocean should it halon, or riding through large puddles. Any ideas from the forum?

    have you considered that the footpad can absorb water and lead to footswitch malfunctions? some paint should help.

    if you are really insulating the contacts on the circuit board and the pins in the connectors, then it seems better to develop a stategy of drainage and ventilation.

    I will be using Neverwet. I had my OW at the beach and the water does do a number on the board. It would not read the charger. I sent it in and had to have the battery pack replaced. Good thing there service department Rocks. Then my brother came to visit with his. I had my Wife Brand new one taped up with Gorilla tape seems to be the best. Hisafter riding with wet feet tripped out thinking someone was riding it. To the point that it took off on its own across the beach. after a quick blow with the air compressor the board still thinks someone is on it. so his goes to the shop. I told him to tape it up but did not seem to think it was a big deal. Seal the crap out of them and don't touch the button if it has sand or water around it.

    @badgertracks wow , that's crazy
    At least it didn't make a b-line for the ocean.

    The flex seal , seems to be fairly durable solution , only time will tell.

    About the foot pad, I'm going flex seal it and mount a surf style kick Pad to the foot board for traction.
    post pics later this week.

    @EmergenCJ OW is my wet pavement board - no issues.

    The weight just makes me ride more!
