I have ordered the bag and had asked the question regarding room for the charger. Just got this back today..

    Hey there,

You might be able to squeeze a charge in there but it's not really designed for it. It does have straps on the outside of the bag you could potentially attach a charger to.

    Cheers,
    Jack

Then about 10 minutes later he responded again with this.

    Hi Eric,

It's a tight squeeze but you can fit the charger inside the bag. The bag also has loops so you can strap things to it like a helmet, charger, ect.

    Cheers,
    Jack

Still not really sure if it will fit, but I assume you can cram it in there..

I would think carrying a OneWheel in a backpack would be very uncomfortable, has anyone done it?

    @dalisdair

Agreed. Carrying OW in any way is uncomfortable.
It ain't light. best way is to have a dolly feature.

I like this bag someone posted. But not sure about the quality based on the reviews.

I didn't really use the duffel bag I bought, it had a single shoulder strap, which might be the least painful way to carry, but I haven't done a lot of testing.

@dalisdair I bought the bag from Academy Sports then wandered into REI with my OW today. I found this Osprey pack for $130 which allows you to strap the board to the outside of the pack and it's a lot smaller than the bag from Academy...which makes it manageable to wear while riding. We tried several different packs and this one was perfect, not to mention the warranty on the pack is lifetime. https://www.rei.com/product/870903/osprey-porter-46-travel-pack

@bdech15 I like the look off that pack. Can you show a photo with the Onewheel attached on The pack. Does the pack have to be empty to accommodate the wheel. Does the wheel dig into your back. Which size pack did you get?

    Thanks for the suggestion.

Below is a link to Dropbox. It wouldn't let me upload a single picture because it said size was too large. If there's a better way let me know. The pack is Osprey 46.

@bdech15 thanks! Looks like it works and it is a multi use pack good for more than just the onewheel. I am leaning towards making my own custom solution when I get my preorder in and can play around with some different ideas.

@bdech15 thanks for the photos. Looks like a nice pack. Does it have a waist belt for support? I'm 6'3" and some times packs hit me kind of high on my back. Probably will need to check one out in person. Thanks again.

Yes it has waist belt that can be hidden if you don't want to use it.

@bdech15 This bag looks awesome. When carrying the board, can it also hold few other small things like the charger, or does the board consume the entire space? Also, how comfortable is it to carry on your back like that?

    bdech15 @Apio 30 January 2017, 16:55 UTC

@Apio It can carry plenty of additional items and it does not dig into your back. I wouldn't stick a computer or ipad under the wheel...but given the purpose for the bag (in the event you have to carry the OW, its easy to do and doesn't require you to ride with a giant duffle bag on your back). I think this is going to be my new "everyday" bag for work. Hope that helps.

@bdech15 That's great to hear. Really I'm just looking for something that cold hold the charger and maybe a few small items and could carry the OW through someplace like a coffee shop or grocery store. This sounds like it would work nicely. I have the custom shoulder sling bag made by one of the guys on the forums here (I don't know if he's still making them) and it's quite a bit nicer than the mafia pack appears to be, but it doesn't work great for hands free carrying.

I found that the boat bags they sell at Gander Mountain are great for holding the Onewheel, helmet, gloves, and charger. Made out of waterproof material that's real tough. $60 too!

@Snurfer the zipper seam will really be tested. As been said before, shoulder-slung makes it hands free but it's a bouncy, cumbersome way to travel.

    Is this the Gander bag?

It looks pretty weak at the shoulder strap points. 29"L x 14"W x 15"H. @goconfigure, you have one? How do you think it will hold up?

@Poseur-Pete I would assume the + fits since that's what it's being promoted to carry. Discount codes were given to certain early purchasers of the +.

@Snurfer I do have it and use it for Onewheel transport. I don't use the strap but I would not worry about the anchor points on the bag breaking but the strap itself is not great and it would need to be upgraded to support carrying the OW on your shoulders. But the actual bag material and build quality is up there with the similar $199 Northface bag (I also own) Hope that helps.

@enjoi408 They offer a lifetime warranty not sure if this is included with the onewheel bag. Any bag that's going to carry the onewheel is going to get a lot of wear and tear due to the nature of the product. All 4 corners are going to poke specially the two corners hanging downwards I don't know how long the sail fabric will last and if they enforced those particular areas.... I am not speaking for mafia in general I think any bag that's going to carry the onewheel has to be some heavy duty stuff if it's going to last. I am attracted to their lifetime warranty though.

@s2kboy I emailed OW re: the warranty and once the bag is used they "are not able to accept returns".
I've got an email in with Mafia to see if their lifetime warranty applies.
I might get one anyway. Somebody has to. Consumers vote with their dollar, and I love the idea of the Mafia company.

Saw this in either OW forum or the OW owners group page on FB, but it is absolutely perfect for transporting your OW/ presumably for the OW+ as well if it is the same length. I plan on using as incognito cover while I store my Wheel in my car while I'm at work.

Thanks to the person who posted about this bag originally.
