    @parrothd I might be mistaken, but that looks like the exact same specs as my first link, only the circumference of yours is an inch bigger. With all the talk of the tire not fitting and having to file it down, wouldn't the smaller one be better?

    @thegreck

    You may be right. With the 11.0 X 6.5-6 , they're having to file down from the battery box.

    With a 5.5" width, it may stretch out and pull the diameter down to 10.5" which is what you need with the rounded treaded shape.

    @sonny123 But my first link was also 5.5 width, but it's a 34.5 diameter instead of 35.5:

    @sonny123 Meh... strike what I just said, I misread your numbers.

    Curious about how the 5.5 is going to effect the ride.
    An inch less width of the tire might make it even more nimble or less stable and more prone to wobbles at speed. I guess someones going to have to take one for the team;)
    Personally, I did not have to mod the batt box with my 6.5 threaded Hoosier.

    @wr420 That'd be a pure racing OW. I'm down to give it a shot, I just don't really have a good enough reason to swap out a perfectly good tire at the moment.

    edit: I do have some plans to modify the hub for the sake of motor cooling, if/when I start that little project I'll put the 5.5 on for sure.

    @wr420 Is your treaded a D30A? I can't find anyone that will ship that compound version to Europe. Sucks...

    The 5.5 is going to be very quick to turn and when you come to a stop, you will get a good stability workout. My 6" slick turned effortlessly. The problem i see is that you will wear the sides out pretty quick. I too did no modding for my 11x6.5-6 tread. It is my go to tire from now on. D30A compound

    Has anyone found the 11x6.5-6 treaded D30A in Europe or somewhere that will ship to Europe? Jegs will ship here but they only list the D10A on their website.

    It's raining so only rode a few blocks. I was mostly able to muscle the tire on/off. Made temp diy bead breaker...๐Ÿ˜€
