    @njcustom Did you have any issues regripping the PLUS due to the full sensor?

    Oh! Idea! When you grip tape a new skateboard deck, you have to rub the edge of the grip with a the side of a wrench or something similar at a ~45 degree angle really hard. By doing so, you really lock in the adhesive and prevent it from peeling. I will definitely be doing that on my Plus when it arrives!

    The hoops I've had to jump through to get a picture to load on this site are ridiculous.

    @njcustom Yeah. My new way of uploading pictures is to send them to my email pull them off onto the desk top, then I open the photo on the desktop and take a screen shot of the photo. Then I just pull the screen shot pic into the type box and it downloads. So annoying but in a weird way satisfying... LOL @thegreck

    @Snurfer those pics are actually of my board. I do use a fender, so lots of water builds up along the edge (you can see the dirt line where the fender edge lays against the grip tape). I know the wood won't handle the water very well in the long term and will apply some sealant soon, but having the pad lift and expose the sensor underneath after only 3 days of riding is disappointing. I have emailed support to ask for a warranty replacement.

    @snwbrdwndsrf for the whole board or just foot pads? I'm still waiting for a response myself.

    Hey @drew it would just be for the footpads not the whole board. OW would never take back the whole board based on other situations I've had and heard about in the past. In fact when I had an issue with a kickstarter board they replaced only the one pad that was sliding and lifting up. The other one they wouldn't replace because they said there was nothing wrong with it.

    @MichaelW I agree with you. I was just seeing what the user was hoping for.

    One of our V1 boards had the sensor tape come up initially. They send a new deck. My + seems solid with the tape. It looks great with nothing pulling up.

    A heat gun will make the glue tacky again.. if there isn't dirt on it ..

    First thing I did when I got my Plus was put grip on that weird triangle cutout on the rear footpad. Second thing I did was sand down the outside edges of all the griptape with a scrap piece of griptape. This is standard practice when you grip a skate deck to prevent it from peeling up. Third thing I did was peel all of it off and replace it with Vicious grip tape.

    Just wanted to report that I scraped the board and tape to remove any dirt, pebbles, hair, and then hit it with a hair dryer on hot. I then used a clamp to press the grip tape to the board. So far so good.

    @njcustom Hey man sorry for a reply on this old thread but doesn't replacing the grip tape void the onewheel's warranty? Im having some slippage but not sure if I ought to be concerned or not. Functionality seems fine so far but one nasty fall is enough to have me wanting to avoid another.0_1536102969001_0904181644b.jpg 0_1536102985602_0904181650a.jpg

    @Slimer

    It voids the warranty of that foot pad only. So if something goes wrong, they will make you buy a new foot pad rather than sending you a replacement.

    @skyman88 That's really good to know, makes sense too. I'll leave it stock until it doesn't function as well anymore then change it. Thanks dude!
