@slydogstroh yeah I got that down, but where are the messages stored? Is it simply just sent to their emails?
-
@braswell yes, it's email, just reply to it (or not)

For all of you having problems getting to the leaderboard or can't start a ride recording: just log out and log in again :)

@SeeTheInvisible what is the backend built on? I'd love to work on a new backend for the app features to improve upon what you have already built.
-
@floaton they are awesome liars 😂😂 next week? Haha.. times that by atleast 3-4

How many months til it's available on Android? 🤔🤔🙃🙃
time to pick up an old shitty iphone dedicated for onewheelin. I wonder if you need cell service for all of the functions to work or if a deactivated phone without a sim card would work.
Back when I briefly owned a onewheel, the android version of OWbuddy kept making my phone freeze up but it worked great on my deactivated S3...although the android version didn't have the extras like the leader board, tracks, etc.

@SeeTheInvisible thanks! And congrats on the great work:)

How do you sync your board to the new updated app , does it just pic it up after you turn your board on ?
-
Love the new app!! Never had OWB so really excited about this!
-
@John-John hi John , if you don't mind answering the question I had on how do you link the board to the app , it doesn't have a sync button or anything m the watch app it pretty fly
-
@gbones2692 go to "my board" then turn your Onewheel on and it should show up. Choose your board and that's it!!

Have there been any changes in the firmware of v1? Not having any problems, just came up to my mind.
-
I presume this means there is no reason to keep the OWheelBuddy app whatsoever?
-

I had the same thought. But if you erase it you might not be able to redownload it since its not on the appstore anymore. So i just kept it in my "not used" folder
-
@gbones2692 One thing I don't see too many people mentioning, but be sure to disconnect from your Onewheel in the OWheelBuddy app first if you were using it, otherwise you won't be able to connect to the new OW official app. Be nice if the new app mentioned that!

@e-ball Seems to me the OWBuddy app still connects faster than any other app including the new OW official app. There was another feature it appeared OWBuddy still had over official but I can't recall what it was. I'll post if I find it.
-
So, when I ride my V1 OW the app behaves like OWbuddy.
But on the OW+ the battery usage don't seem to add up.
Same ride today, 6.9mi loop, flat, mostly sidewalk.
OW, 25% remaining, 12% regen, 5mi range, 88% usage
OW+, 12% remaining, 05% regen, 2mi range, 50% usage
The usage seems off on the plus, this has been consistent.
What am I missing? -
So, you can change ride modes while riding on the Plus! At least when I tried at slow speeds. This is pretty crucial if you ask me. I feel like I read somewhere else that you had to dismount to change modes.
-
@Snurfer You don't have to dismount on the V1, but you have to be stopped.
