I think you can get a general estimate by looking at the serial # on the board. There may be a better way to tell but I don't have my board in front of me.

Odds are you'll get a perfectly working board.
The possibility of faulty OW that need to be serviced is equal to receiving a new +,
as it happened with few people.
FM is there to service your board with great customer service.

@Buckaroo-Banzai PM me the serial # and I can cross-reference for you and give you an approximate production date. Ask the seller if it is still under warranty and when they registered it. Email FM to ask them how much longer is left on the warranty.
I have had to ship my board back a few times, but all under warranty and FM customer service has always been phenomenal. I have never damaged the board from riding too hard, and I ride pretty damn hard. All of the failures have been random and not related to board abuse.

Pull the trigger dude. After the first 5 minutes riding, you'll wonder how you ever lived without one!

Also if you don't know the v1 you'll still be wondering about the difference...so start on the v1 now and learn the sport so you know if you'll want more power later on...

@Buckaroo-Banzai In the beginning I bought and sold a ton. They were hard to get and I had a source to get boards at a discount. So I would sell every few hundred miles and just get a new one as I was selling for a small profit. So yeah, I paid for two boards doing that. I tape the rails with gorilla tape so they usually don't even have a scratch on them. Here is my current board with tape and without after 500 miles.
