Some idiot offered $2300 for a OW+ - I went with it and started an open auction post to see if anyone was actually stupid enough to pay that.

And banned.. Seriously, it's funny, but makes me wonder if the mods know that this sort of thing makes them look incompetent and like a crybaby bitch for doing zero to actually warn or ask folks to do whatever you want. Nope, instead you act like child and just ban/block anyone you have any small issue with.

If the mod in question cares to apologize or explain him or herself I'm listening, but I'm expecting crickets - people like that essentially never recognize they're in the wrong.

@OW-Miami sounds like you are the one crying.. just saying. Don't think anyone needs to apologize to you either as I don't think they were really wrong in their reasoning. Only thing they did wrong was they are learning as they go and implementing rules as things come up. The whole point of that group is for owners to give helpful tips and share experiences with other owners not to be a dick and try and over charge "stupid" people as you say. That pretty much defeats the whole purpose of the group. Im sure if you apologize they will let you back in to the group ( ;

@RandomNate I do agree that's why I said he should maybe pm them obviously I was a little sarcastic but everyone that runs that group seems to be good people as far as I can tell. They could have considered it spam as well you never know. Look at what happened to this forum with the Chinese spam crap or just people trying to sell anything possible to OneWheelers (not all of the products being sold aftermarket are a bad thing at all but some really is just crap that people are trying to make a quick buck off of).

Just FYI, the moderators of the FB page absolutely send a warning message before banning anyone. Unless it's a blatant attack on someone or spam, then that's unacceptable and you'll get booted without a warning for sure.

Also dude, super not cool trying to rip people off with a super overpriced "auction". Keep that garbage on EBay.

Jeff - as far as your assertion that they PM - you're just wrong. Dead wrong. But it is what it is, I have zero tolerance or patience for internet badasses that need to assert themselves on a facebook group, and wouldn't even DREAM of apologizing, I'm a capitalist - sorry if that offends you - I also gladly sell and buy whiskey at MANY TIMES the retail price, so a 25% markup isn't really all that 'ripoff' if you want something that's hard to get, and you want it bad enough, you'll pay. I wanted it $2299 bad. I did not want it $2300 bad. If someone wanted it more than me, I figured I should let them have an opportunity at it. Even if I DID think they'd be crazy to pay that, given that a month or two wait would see these readily available.

shrug Some mods are good at what they do, some aren't. I obviously found one of the shitty ones with no sense of fairness or humor. And that particular one dude can absolutely suck it. :-)

@OW-Miami nope not involved at all just a regular contributor to the group. You can see who is an admin pretty easily even if you are blocked I believe but maybe not. I really think it is only run by 1 maybe 2 people and they have hundreds if not thousands of posts and comments to monitor every day and do a pretty damn good job considering. So that's why I said if you just emailed them and explained they would probably unblock you immediately but at this point you really just seem like you want to keep crying so I wouldn't bother if I were you. Sucks though because the facebook group has a lot more traffic and the forum is slowly but surely dying.

Everyone is already on facebook so its a lot more convienient than having to log into another website and I have been on a few facebook groups for years and they are still going strong.
