Yes, you're at your own risk when exceeding the 'max speed' but how is one supposed to know when you've hit this number?
Just keep riding faster and faster until you nosedive, then dial it back a bit.

@sabernat @daarnold82
I have definitely had pushback in Delirium but again, it's been at much lower speeds. I think once your past ~15 mph there isn't much pushback left for the board to deliver.
What about an exercise... switch back into the slowest shaping mode and work your way back up to Delirium. You should feel the push back happen at a higher speed in each shaping mode... maybe that would help you guys know what to be looking for?
BUT be warned, in Cruz, pushback is very very aggressive and early. Use some caution for each mode and work up to pushback. I did something early on to make sure what I thought was pushback in Mission really was.

@skyman88 pushback is very obvious in sequoia and Cruz. If there's pushback in delirium it's so subtle that it might as well not exist.

First things first, I'm glad your shoulder is healing w/o surgery.
While I may not be able change your opinion on Delirium, I am trying to help you guys. Have you driven on flat ground in a straight line in Delirium to test for pushback?

@thegreck Lol, thats apparently what Im good at. You should see the hematoma on my hip. Looks like a autumn scene painting of trees paired with an orange-sized blood blister hanging off my hip. OUCH

@daarnold82 If you're not already a member of the Onewheel Crash Group on FB, you should join and post a photo. It's where people go to see gnarly wounds people have suffered while riding their Onewheel:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/onewheelextreme/?ref=bookmarksI posted a photo of what happened to my arm when I got hit by a car, and it beats most people's photos in terms of disgusting gore... but I'd rather not have a photo to show, that's for sure.

@skyman88 yep. I was flat terrain riding when I took my nosedive. Shoulder will hea to a point, but the damage is permanent. My lung was at about 80% capacity when they released me from the hospital. Hopefully I'll see a higher number on the 20th at my next X-ray.

@thegreck Any chance of making that Facebook group public? I don't know who runs it, so I'm replying to you. I don't have a Facebook account, but I would like to browse around that group.

@florider the group must be closed, otherwise it would get flooded with spam.

This topic has been asked on Facebook also and the answer remains closed group. People don’t want others how much they post on there... haha. And it keeps trolls, scammers and spammers to a minimum. Make a FB account with a throw away email account if needed just to join. Lots of good info, laughs and content on there.

@florider Zero chance, for all the reasons stated above. Just join, it's a worthwhile group.

I had my first nosedive today, I completely blew through all the battery warnings, and I was riding it pretty hard through a grassy field when it got to 2%, and down I went... Flew about 10 feet and just laid there for a second before I got up and laughed about it. I know it was all my fault, I burned through the warnings, but was just happy that this happened on grass. Lesson learned that once that nose bites the dirt there's not a whole lot you can do, gotta listen to your board and the warnings!

Glad you hear you're able to laugh about it, that's a good thing. At least you know where the limits are... and what happens past them now. Any "dirt rash"?

@skyman88 Just a rashed elbow, which i think was more from my clothes rubbing my arm as I landed on it rather than my elbow on the ground. And I had some grass in the shorts ;-) I'm pretty new to this with less than 30 miles sofar on the board, but I got really comfortable on it pretty quickly. The thing I was really playing with today was getting a feel for pushback as I was working through the range of speed in Mission mode, and riding safely on that line, this was on a gravel trail. I haven't had the balls yet to try Delirium on any terrain, but it's gonna happen soon LOL

I wouldn’t be afraid of Delirium... it’s fun and has its place. Glad to hear all worked well for you. Delirium is great because it legit is a whole new board.

@skyman88 awesome, I'll give it a whirl this weekend then, appreciate the advice!
