The murdered out black Mafia bag came in the mail a few weeks ago. Very nice quality, awesome bag. I love it. Cannot wait for the Onewheel plus XR to be in it.

Hehe. If you wait less than 60 days past your planned shipping date, call it a win. FM has never hit a target shipment date, probably never will. At least you'll generally get a well built and carefully crafted machine to enjoy, once it does show up. And yes, three or four of you will get fucked, and will get poorly QC'd units, but hey, that's the nature of early buy in. Worth it, IMO. And besides, FM WILL fix the things. (just call, or only send ONE e-mail and wait...)

@ow-miami Well built board? Is subjective. If it malfunctions for any reason then was it built well?

Bought 2 v1s in 2016 and a "+" when they debut, and 3 out of 3 had some electronic issues. You are right about FM taking care of the repairs though.

Am I sucker for the "OneWheel"? I guess. "XR" #21154 on its way March 26, 2019.

@wheelrich lol! The waiting is getting expensive! :) I keep meaning to go to the basement to dig out my knee/elbow pads and wrist guards back from mybrollerblading days lol! My wife got me an S1 helmet for Father’s Day, but I’m half considering a BMX style helmet to guard my face! Cool your date moved back to where it was!

@wolfie I just ordered the OW helmet to come with the board. But friends and family keep pushing me to get more safety gear. I got some triple 8 hired hands that feel pretty comfortable, so I ordered their exoskin knee and elbow pads. But not looking forward to wearing all that gear at the beach. when I cycle I wear a helmet and that's it. I quit wearing gloves, cause when I have fallen, my hands didn't take any damage, and they were uncomfortable. But I guess this is different. I have kayaked, skied, sailed, cycled, motorcycled, and still off-road, but no board sports before. This will be a new adventure.

@wheelrich I know what you mean about not looking forward to wearing it all! If it makes you feel better, I’ll be doing the same! I’m going to checkout the safety gear you bought. I might get it too, depending on if I can find my old pads and what condition that stuff is in. My shipping date is still today!

@wolfie hey do me a favor. Check your FedEx online notice and see if it gives you the option of having it held at a FedEx drop off. There is a chance I will be on an all day off-road trip when it gets delivered (if it comes next Saturday). So far I haven't found anyone who can wait for it at my house.

I know FedEx does this, but I don't know if they would for something this big.

@wheelrich there is a link to customize the delivery (“when and where you want it”). I clicked on it, but it looks like I’d need to create an account to proceed any further. So maybe you can do it if you create an account? Might be east to do once you get your tracking number from oneWheel.

Mine is supposed to arrive next Thursday. Takes a while!

SHIPPED! Just got an email saying the board has shipped via FedEx. Note: it took a couple more minutes before the "dude, where's my onewheel?" caught up, but now they both confirm it. Order 26264, made on May 15. Original ship date was June 19, but it moved up to June 12, then 11.

As soon as I get an estimated delivery date, I will come back here and post it, for those who are trying to guesstimate delivery times (which is probably all of us).

I am in So Cal, so I am hoping no more than 4 days.

Funny, my board shippped last Friday (it’s supposed to arrive this Thursday), but I received an email last night at 9 PM Pacific Time stating the fender and bumper just shipped. No biggie... I was just surprised as I had assumed everything shipped Friday.

@wolfie yeah my helmet and stand haven't shipped yet. But I have a helmet I can use until they get here. I saw that Flight fenders might go out this week. I have a preorder.

Not getting the Flight fins until I see how well I do on this thing. Doubt I will be doing anything to need them, but you never know.

OK just checked and my OW was in Tracy CA and left 2 minutes ago. Looks like it is coming down the I-5 by truck. If I drive to north of LA and wait on the 5 with a big sign, do you think they would let me have it today instead of tomorrow?? Not that I'm obsessed or anything.

@wolfie I definitely will. I was gonna play it safe and charge it for 48 hrs, as recommended by others. I read the owners manual and only found they advise charging overnight once and awhile...plus I am too anxious to try it.

So while it charges I will install floats and sidekicks. If I get it while it is still daylight I am trying it after initial charge...then either way I will charge it all night and ride more Thursday.

Oh...the cops said I can't stand in the middle of the freeway any more....j/k

@onedan so I was riding regular footed with my leading foot on the back pad (i.e. had the board turned around). I’m regular (left foot forward). I just didn’t want you to think I was riding with my right foot forward. I tried that a couple of times and could only go a few feet :) thanks again for the help!

Yep, no problem. I kinda figured you were simply backwards. I've always envied people who can switch on a dime, both on the onewheel and on snowboards, but I'm like 3/4 of the population where I can only go one way, like you, left foot forward. Sounds like your addicted, so have fun!

@regis-muller It can go fast: Friday shipped from US, next Wednesday at my door (my Plus). With the XR I had to “encourage” Fedex, who handle the import formalities, to get going but still about a week

My XR actually came in 2 days early! (Tuesday) - - that's why I'm just now seeing this post. :) I've been doing other things;) It's awesome. Better than I expected. (Which I guess is kinda a cruel thing to say in a thread of people waiting for their OWs.

@sayreul I can't remember exactly but I feel like mine was in production for a week before it shipped. That last week shipping was estimated to June 15th. It ended up shipping June 14th. Delivery was estimated to be on the 21st (today). Fedex just texted me to expect it between 1pm and 530pm, and I'm just gonna go ahead and guess it'll get here at 530pm because the Onewheel gods are sonsabitches. My advice, expect the worst, longest, most annoying shipping/delivery process and you won't be disappointed.

this morning, the order is 'in queue" and has moved to 6th July :(
