@ShreddieMcskate felt pads are holding up great and now I never get the sensor warning...I’m pretty sure my high arches are a problem with the 🍺

@ShreddieMcskate I ran with some animal skate shoes I have today and it was a better feel plus I'm pretty sure I had the warning less. Had my best time so far actually as I put more air in the tyre and that combined with the animals meant I was carving pretty good for a nube. Mega happy. Didn't wanna stop but after 51 mins battery got down to 3% so game over man!

@tzracer22 how’s that sensor working out for you ?
-
T
@ShreddieMcskate still triggering the warning. I'm gonna carry on with it just to make as sure as I can that it's not me causing the issue before I contact FM.

@tzracer22 I just met somebody from Germany with the same issues he ended up having high arches in his feet just like me so he did the felt pad trick And it worked like a charm...you should give it a try...
He didn’t ride his pint for two months because he thought the sensor was broken he was so happy when I gave him the fix -
The motor should never click off when you are over 1MPH. I have actually had it notify me that me foot is off while I was practicing turning. It WAS off, so no problems here. But, with it fully off on one side the motor did not click off at all. That's super dangerous. I would contact support.

@ShreddieMcskate pretty sure I have some of these somewhere so might give it a go. Thing is should it be necessary really?

Just met this dude from Germany that had the same issue..this is what he tried

Since I changed my grip tape to the grittier grip from craft and ride I’m not having any of those sensor issues now I’m not using those felt sensors anymore..

I have my pint for only 3 days, but I was getting similar issues. I'd step on front pad and it wouldn't engage like half the time. It's always the toe area for me. But when I tried at home barefoot on carpet, I'd have no issue. This was true for me and my son.
Then I switched to Nike SB shoes which I already had and no issues anymore. I think it works much better with certain shoes. My son loves riding the Pint, but he's getting very frustrated with the sensors ... He doesn't have flat shoes, so I might try sticking something on the toe area.

@waters10 the small felt pads worked great for me👍🏽

Now I don’t need the felt pads!!! These things are great!!!! The kick tail really locks you in!! -
has anyone tried these, from CarbonSmith? it sounds like it would also help alleviate that weird/annoying sensor problem, too:

@ShreddieMcskate after half an hour browsing their site I found them but their site says they don't exist for ther pint so I can't put them in my basket. Are you saying you had to speak to them direct to get these? Cheers

@tzracer22 https://craftandride.com/collections/accessories-for-onewheel-pint/products/proride-traction-pads-for-onewheel
Go there and choose the pint for compatible Onewheel model -

@ShreddieMcskate I've worked it out now. The ones I looked at don't exist yet so the website won't let me put the stuff in my cart. Ordered different coloured ones now so now it's just the wait until they arrive 🙂. Thanks for your help
