@veryous yeah man it was sketch, my legs were shaking the whole time. I rode out to that tip and had to control my speed for those two cracks. Going slow over rough terrain is cake but I had to pick up speed for the crack transitions then slow down so I didn't fall into the canyon. A lot of the people watching were scared for me. LOL

@veryous It had to be close to 100 x better! Not only was it smooth and perfect, but it goes on for miles! Not to mention the ocean is right there, and the feeling of the sea breeze rushing past you is amazing! Carving was a piece of cake, and it felt just like surfing. People walking on the beach looking for shells, or running come to a complete stop with theirs mouths hanging wide open as you blast past them at 12mph. The 7 miles the board covers isn't nearly enough on a morning like today! It felt like I had only gone a mile before I had to go back and charge it.

I love the long distance rides! 6.2 miles and still had close to 30% battery left. A couple 11% graded hills are fun and add a little extra riding time to the battery. :)

I agree! That one is great. It's the video I always show people when I'm telling them about the thing I've been waiting and waiting to arrive.

@thegreck Same here! Anytime I want to show people a great example of off roading on the OW I show them that video. I take mine off road all the time and, while I'm proficient, it's not as easy as @fabuz makes it look. He makes it look effortless. I would say he's up there with Mike Tavares in skill and in inspiring me to push my own limitations on my OW. Plus the edit of that video is great... just gets you pumped up to ride!
