Charging issues/short battery life

I've been riding my new OW for a few weeks now and recently I've noticed that after about 5-10 minutes or 1 mile of riding the battery goes completely dead. Also when I go to charge it after this, the charger says it's done in just a few minutes, which obviously is not right. I've run several tests on this using the app to monitor the battery life while riding and it seems to jump from about 90% to 1% instantly and just dies. This last time I had to carry the 30-40 pound paperweight a mile back to my vehicle. Has anyone had this issue. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Never had that problem. May need to send it in.

@jefflynn Have you balanced the battery by leaving it charging overnight? This has fixed the issue for a lot of people who have had similar complaints (including myself).

I agree try this it fixes it 95% of the time !!!

@thegreck I have tried that several times with different outlets. I'm actually sending it back today for repairs.

Yeah figures with my luck! Everything I buys seems to have something wrong with it! I do love my OW and will hate not having it for a few weeks.
