Hi guys, here i am with a new fantastic question. Im riding for the first time the absolutely amazing OneWheel, and i have saw that in the tire i've a lot of tiny holes, made obviusly by the little stones of the road.

Is this normal? You have this holes too? Im very scary about this, and i think that this holes riding it every day can damage the tire.

Another question: do you wash or something else the OneWheel when you finish to ride it or not? Im washing the tire and the footboards when i finish to ride it.

Many thanks and sorry for my english :-)

This seems to be pretty normal and part of the wear and tear on my board. Does not seem to affect riding whatsoever.

The perfectly round holes that you see symmetrically around the tire are wear gauges to let you know when it's time to look into a new tire when they start to disappear. Because the tires are soft, you will find temporary indentations where pebbles and rocks push in, but they usually pop back out after an hour or so.

Hey @Ludovico. I have all those same holes. I'm sure everyone does. I think the rubber's really thick. I'm not worried about it.

We're getting around 1,000 miles out of these tires.

    Standing athwart the technological zeitgeist.

I wash my board with a spritz of high pressured air. Gets all the dry dirt and dust off. Best way to clean the grip tape too. Just go to a gas station and use the air compressors that are used for car tires.

i wipe my tire off when i'm done (AFTER YOU POWER OFF) so that any small stuff doesn't stay on my tire and get further pushed in

i never wipe my foot pads unless it was wet out
