for children, maybe some stabilizers to help them to learn

Hey Stan, welcome to the forum. Do you currently ride a OW? I am of the opinion that stabilizers would interfere with the intuitive relationship between the person and the OW.

Yo Stan! Not a bad idea... Like training wheels for the OneWheel. I like it but I would think you would need a child mode on the app too... Maybe a 5-8 miles per hour limit? @Stanley Chell

I believe it is recommended for children 13 and over, though I've seen younger on it. They just need to be aware and strong enough for it. I'd go for a child mode, but no way I'd put something on the board because then you're just fighting the whole point of it. Then I'd say go get a scooter for the kid.
