New handle

Made a new handle bracket to replace my previous garage-style handle. The new flat black handle is aluminum with 5/16"-18 threaded holes from McMaster-Carr. The bracket is cut from 1 1/4" x 1/2" aluminum bar stock. 5/16" countersunk mounting holes take 5/16"-18 x 1 1/2" flathead socket cap screws that replace the factory 5/16"-18 x 3/4" socket cap screws, so no modification to the frame is needed. 3/4" lightening holes.
1/2" thick bar stock is overkill (3/8" would suffice), but I'm very happy with the result.

@badcheese I applaud your ingenuity however, Maybe you could design a quick release clamp style handle that won't increase the OW's width when riding. I like to carve around street posts, benches, and bike racks. I could see catching the handle when squeezing through a tight passage.
