Safe to store Onewheel six months?

I am going away for six months and cannot take my onewheel. Is it ok to leave the battery uncharged that long or should i keep it charged? And if i keep it charged does it need to be ran by someone every once and a while?

    Thanks for any help offered!!

@dogsloveonewheel I'm not sure whether it's safe or not, but it is a damn shame.

Look at section 9 of this link. Sounds like you should be fine after a full charge then 60% - 75% drain.

I agree with thegreck. You should find a substitute rider while you are gone to not let the stoke go to waste :-)

I was going to ask the same question!! good to hear the answers are seeming positive! @Future-Motion any official view on the matter?

I think there is something in the manual about not letting it sit without a charge.

    Forget the duration...

Maybe you can put it on Getaround and rent it to someone to enjoy while you are not using it:-)
