    Hello all Onewheelers:

I'm sure some of you may feel the same way about this, but is there any way we can get our Onewheel frames repainted, or just purchase a new one altogether? I live next to an asphalt road, and my board's looking pretty beaten up. It's just a cosmetic thing, but it would be really nice if that became an option.

    Thanks

I know what you means @thomasharrick but honestly, even with a replacement frame, it would get beaten in few days...So, I'm using the other method and wrappe it regulary, it works well, cost almost nothing, and your onewheel looks like new for few days ;)

You can get everything replaced but the aluminum. The wood pads, the plastic bumpers, the wheel, for like 250$ basically a new board.

Thanks a ton @Tartopom ! I'll try just covering the frame in masking tape, like I did before, but I don't want to cover up any sensors. Do you know where the sensors are?

@thomasharrick There aren't any sensors on the blue aluminum frame. Just don't cover the power button or charging port.

@thomasharrick And vinyl wrap looks a lot better than masking tape, and it's easy to do. Check out @J-Glide 's how-to video:

@thegreck That looks awesome, does anyone know how the vinyl holds up? Do you have to re-wrap it often?

@orangeblood Holds up really well on the rails. I wrapped mine when I first got it (before I even rode it) back in mid-December 2015, and haven't done anything to them since then, and they're still in pretty good shape:

But then a few months ago I tried wrapping the wood parts of the foot pads, and that hasn't held up as well. I guess those get a lot more abuse. Ended up spray painting the foot pads black.

I wrapped mine with carbon fiber vinyl and it still looks good I've had it on for probably 3 months.
