I've seen a few videos of people riding, and it's quite common to have the camera placed right next to the wheel on the right side.
What kind of cameras are you all using, and how are you mounting it?

Unfortunately I don't have a go-pro or anything but my phone really, so it's hard to do cool videos.

I have that thing posted above. Its fantastic for smooth riding surfaces. I mount mine on the aluminum frame just before the wood foot pads.
It's not optimal for off-road riding as it bounces around a little too much and the arm will bend out of position. I mainly use the go pro 3 bar stick thing as it is adjustable and records a better angle.
Get a selfie stick for your phone and record. It would work just as good.

Keys -check, wallet -check, phone -check, onewheel -check. Im good to go.

@SkateFirst.SamT Looks cool. First I thought it would fit into your pocket, but that was just the tracker. Second thought was: "But how do I get it to come back?" :D

Currently looking at the CyPhy lvl1 https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1719668770/cyphy-lvl-1-drone-reinvented-for-performance-and-c?ref=category
Same price, same delivery date, pretty much same functions.
But there are just too many drones out there and too much happening in that market to make a decision.

i glued a small piece of metal near the front of my onewheel. I use it to attach my polaroid camera, which has a built-in magnet Screen Shot 2015-05-31 at 18.44.58 .png

@pteasima That's pretty cool. You gotta post a video from that setup.
    I'm guessing it'll be a bit wavy :P

@pteasima Better than expected. Nice video, and very nice off-road driving.
I guess this works pretty well, unless carving like a snowboarder. Thankfully, you went pretty straight or I would be rather nauseous by now.

I wonder if I could get my hands on a drone to shoot a clip in follow-me mode, that would be really cool.

My buddy just ordered a Lily drone for follow me shots. I'm looking into the cyphy lvl1 to see how they compare. It'd be nice getting great quality footage with out a mount or anything on your board.

I just ordered a Lily drone myself. I think it would be awesome riding down the street/beach on your Onewheel with a Lily drone following along with a smooth 360 degree tracking shot.

Unfortunately Lily doesn't ship until Q1 2016 - so it will be quite a while. Rest assured though, I will post as soon as I can.

I am glad I stumbled across the lily drone prior to the cost increase.

July 2015 - my Onewheel will arrive
February 2016 - my Lily will ship

    Awesome find

@intra That looks really nice. I did see it one time, but I didn't pay much attention to it. I've always wanted a nice drone, but with a go-pro quality camera.
However, it's mainly going to be me on my board, so this should be quite enough really. Might get one of those... either way, be sure to upload some nice footage from it.

I bought that mount Sam, but I removed the arm and I clip the camera right to the jaws clamp, then right by the board. It's more stable off road for me that way. I assume on more flat spaces it would be fine to use the arm. The arm started moving out of place with all the bumps.
