V1 Odometer randomly reset and switched back to Classic.

Recently, I noticed that the odometer was reset back to zero and it was back in Classic mode. Is there anything that can cause this? It otherwise works ok. Just curious why this would have happened. Before the odometer reset I had put about 75-80 miles on it in a year since getting it new.

Let me know if anyone has some insight.
