It would be understandable to assume that most OW owner/riders are young or younger (teens, 20's, 30's and some in their 40's). I was curious about how many are "young at heart" (those in their 50's, 60's.......70's).
I thought I'd start an informal poll.
How many of you OW owner/riders are:
    Teens:
    20's:
    30's:
    40's:
    50's:
    60's:
    70's: Wouldn't that be cool?
Do you ride mostly pavement or trail?

Turning 60 this year, skateboarded as a kid, snowboarder for over 20 years. I ride pavement and smooth trails and have almost 1000 miles on my plus that I got last August!

I'm 64 and have had mine for a few months and I love it. People say I'm too old for it. I tell them they didn't have OneWheels when I was a kid so I'm doing it now. It's acceptable to snow ski at any age, so why not OneWheel? I tend to stay on pavement as it's just easier then riding on dirt.

There have been a couple of polls on the Facebook groups. The price of the Onewheel pushes the age upwards. The top of the bell curve is typically mid 30s to mid 40s.

I saw a poll that a couple hundred people did in OneWheel Owners group. Average age of a OneWheel rider is about 39.

I turn 50 this year. I started e-sk8boarding 3 years ago. I snapped up a S/H V1 about a year ago and was basically hooked straight away. A few months later I drove 12 hours round trip to pick up a S/H plus. (OneWheels are really rare in Australia) I've managed to get one of my freinds (56yrs) as hooked as I am. We ride everywhere exploring, mostly at night and we've just started hitting the skateparks and are always daring and challenging each other. We are now both getting new XRs, mine should arrive tomorrow.

I just turned 57 at the beginning of the month and I have been OW-ing since last August. I love park trails (either asphalt or packed dirt). In my "younger days" I have been an avid alpine skier, cyclist and golfer. Nowadays, I play golf and have managed to include OW-ing WITH golf. What could be better!?

From OW Owners Group on Facebook last year.

I believe 39 was the average age.

I'm 42. Skated a lot as a kid, went dead for a bit then started things back up late 20's/early 30's with stuff like snakeboards and Freelines until OW+ came along. I mostly take mine on dirt and gravel trails, sometimes grass. I don't get near the roads because ppl around here text way too much while driving and there's no sidewalks.

Put me down for "old enough to afford a OW, young enough to buy one"; or maybe "old enough to know better, young enough to do it anyway."

By the way, I just showed my OW to a dear friend of mine today. He was really tempted to try it. He used to ski and rollerblade but now he just jogs and "spins". If I bring it to the beach, he would most certainly try it. He turns 80 at the end of May!

Thank you all for your responses. I'd love to hear about the 80 year old's impressions of riding a OW.

64 years old...I have been riding my ONEWHEEL for 2 years... I don't do many riding tricks, but I trick my Onewheel into a SPIDER on Halloween...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PISBU1lWRb8&t=37s

Also I trick my OneWheel into a SLEIGH and ride it as the Grinch in a X-mas parade... for the last 2 years..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZrXlEkTg2A&t=3s

I have my Yorkiepoo Dog ride on it when I am at the Park..

And, I have made flying fins out of $7.00 Knee Pads purchased at Home Depot..https://archive.owforum.co.uk/topic/7732/flying-fins-made-in-my-garage-for-about-10-dollars/14

ps....I love seeing the Magic that other OneWheelers are able to do with their BOARDS.
