Motor not engaging and getting "Error! I need my personal space"

Has anyone gotten this error message before. When i turn the onewheel power on I step onto the board and it does not engage. Please help

I get this error message on the app.

"Error! I need my personal space"

Do not press the rider detect zone (blue stripes) while switching on

Do you put it neutral on the ground, then push on button, wait 5 sec and then try to stand on it?

If you do, it might be a bad sensor
