I have a new XR and I just put on a new fender, kush foot pad, a handle and float plates. As soon as I engaged the motor (while standing still) there is an awful sound like a small jet off in the distance. At first I thought my wife was filling the tub and I was hearing the hiss/hum of water through pipes. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

@donny-h Normal. Don't worry. If you want to hear it less put the board in Mission. Indoors you notice it outdoors not so much.

@donny-h you probably have the profile on delirium, where it tightens up the side to side balancing. It does increase the noise at standstill. Change the profile to Cruz and you'll see it chills out, but also loosens up.

@donny-h thanks guys I feel a lot better! I didn't notice it outside and when I did notice it I had just put on accessories and was inside and tuned all the way up.

@skyman88 Exactly what I was thinking, I bed adding a plastic fender magnifies the delirium humm as it vibrates the thin plastic.

I can definitely hear the delirium added noise even without the fender.
