What’s pushing the Pint orders back?
-
I ordered my Pint late, 23rd March (it had been in my basket, I just hadn’t actually pushed that order button) and I expected it to be delivered in a week or so, nowhere on the site did it say it was a pre order. I was shocked after ordering it wasn’t due to be shipped until 25th June. After a week it had crept up to the 19th of June, this I thought was ok, perhaps it was an estimate due to the high amount of orders and that it would steadily get nearer. However it soon went back to 25th June and now sits at shipping on 2ndJuly. I understand that FM was moving into a purpose built factory, though this move has been going on for months and you would have thought they could still be making products in the old factory while they move?
I would have hoped that FM would keep us more informed, I’m sure a lot is people have cancelled there orders due to this huge wait, while FM continue to hold the payments.
I notice they now have “Shipping starts in May” on the website when you order, that’s correct but not for the order you place today.
So my question is, what exactly is delaying the shipping? I don’t believe it’s the move to the new factory (what business would stop building a product while they move for 6 months), is it that this product was a prototype and not suitable for mass production when they unveiled the Pint in March? Or something else?

I feel like you as well. There was no info stating "this is a pre-order and Pint will ship in a couple of months or more" when I purchased. In fact, I was planning to go to California with my daughter and ride with her on the beaches two weeks after I ordered on Mar 12th. I have loved the XR and thought this would be perfect time to bond for both of us. When I saw the ship date was estimated 2 months away I was really shocked! It would have been nice to have clearly mentioned that on the website somewhere before they let us click purchase.
Anyways, I'm happy that I'm in the queue and realize that they probably needed the capital and this is a brilliant way to get some more hard cash from their loyal customer base that know their products.
Back to your question - I ordered the dark grey model and the full monty package. I've been watching and my date has not changed (May 27th) however, that's a holiday. So I bet it will be after that date. I've seen others with other color options keep getting pushed back. I wonder if it has something to do with that. I've also wondered if I hadn't purchased the full mont (banana split?) option if mine would have been changing too.
I do also find it interesting that they haven't communicated anything with the customers who purchased these. We're really their "Loyal" customers! Seems like they might send us an email giving updates on the production levels or issues and I'm sure that most all of us would be happy to know more details.
One last thing - since they reworked their homepage there's no way to find the forums any longer. I don't think the new OW owners would be able to find the forum - I wonder if that's by design. FM doesn't seem too involved with the Forums from what I can tell.

Hey gents, my order has been rolled back to 5/27 as well. I expect it will likely fluctuate a bit more before shipping. When I ordered my first XR it wasnt quite at launch but it wasnt so far after that inventory was ready on hand, and I recall the shipping date fluctuating in a similar fashion.
As far as the forums visibility in the revamp, I had similar sentiments until I realized they had simply renamed the forums Community in the links at the bottom of the page. Still not as intuitive as Forum, but I suppose its meant to be to impel a more familial vibe lol... -
VVindigo75 7 May 2019, 01:25 UTC
Derp...there is a Forum linknas well..
-
@Panglossian I’m pleased I’m not the only one who feels like this, some official communication would be nice as to how everything is going. Lots of videos of FM promoting the Pint, let’s see the production of these Pints, let’s see how the new building is. Let’s see these items being boxed ready for shipping. This would certainly stop me considering cancelling my order.
-
Ppcelestino11 7 May 2019, 08:35 UTC
All I want is a shipping update(7/15) and an explanation on why it’s going to take a long time before I get my pint? Please FM! LOL

KKielanders 8 May 2019, 02:42 UTC
Not being an apologist for FM, but I ordered an XR a couple of weeks ago, shipping was supposed to happen within a few days, got delayed few days with a shipping issue to my location, I wasn't notified - I got ticked-off and canceled my order.
I sat on it a few hours and sulked. The wife then suggested I try and a dealer up here (didn't know we had any) - we actually have 2 dealers, and one had an XR left, so I had it sent over.
When I talked with FM about my new XR on the phone a couple days later, I asked them what their staff size was - turns out FM is around 40 people.
That's a very small number of people that are literally changing the industry, producing one of the most innovative products the sport has ever seen.
If I'd of known that, I'd of been more patient . . . and not have had snarky comments for my answers on a marketing survey I filled-out (sorry FM).
I'm not telling any of you guys how to feel. It's just that . . . I get it.
All I can say, is that if the Pint is even half as life changing (bruises included) as the XR, it's worth waiting for.
Better for them to workout any final production problems with the board now, and have it right when it reaches your hands.
. . . best to you guys, it'll be worth the wait.
-
@Kielanders Thank you for that insight, I think the main issue is that when we ordered there was no mention of it being a pre order, I thought I would have it in a week or so. They have now added to the website that shipping starts in May, although that’s true, people ordering today won’t be getting it in May.
I agree that FM is a small company and changing the world one wheel at a time (did you see what I did there). It’s just that’s it seems a bit ‘underhand’ not being honest with when you will receive the item after shelling out all that money. -
@Mark-Vlogs @Kielanders
Welcome to (almost) the Float Life. Here's a couple quick notes:
-
FM does not actively monitor or respond to this forum. Kind of a legacy system at this point, that still exists for non Facebook users and they do post announcements from time to time.
-
FM has done the pre-order and then finish design cycle for all of their products to date. That 40 person head count is recent also, that's a large increase over the past. I ordered my OW+ and then due to a sourcing/design challenge waited 12 weeks past my original ship date. With the XR it was only a 2 week slip, which was great... and on the V1 from Kickstarter, you don't want to know.
-
FM is doing Pint test rides & demo events. I know 3 people that went to the one in Cali last weekend. FM made a few comments about still polishing a couple details on the Pint, so there is probably a small portion of that feeding into the ship dates as well as the need to scale up so quick. I can only imagine how many more Pint pre-orders there were with the current social media reach and advertising versus the past 3 models.
-
All of the above goes away about 2 hours after you receive your board. So the wait is more than worth it in the end and just an unfortunate step in owning "the most smiles per dollar" thing I've ever purchased.
Be thankful for the website that tracks orders... that didn't exist when I ordered my OW+, it was total silence until enough people called/emailed asking for updates. I found it to be perfectly accurate for my XR delivery.
-
-
Wwheelrich 8 May 2019, 14:06 UTC
Yes, welcome to the interminable wait that we XR owners went thru last year. Demand overpowers production. Eventually they will catch up and later people will get them in a week or two. Meanwhile you are the test group. Hang in there!
-
Ggeguia 15 May 2019, 03:07 UTC
New to the forum and onewheel community. I just wanted to say it was deceptive to say "SHIPPING IN MAY" before ordering. It's not clear anywhere that it would ship months later.
WHy not be up front about it? I would have ordered guys but it's f'ing shady that you start off this way.
When you order an iphone it says when it ships lol. When you buy a fridge at best buy it tells you when stock will be available for shipping.
Not rocket science.
It's clear you want the orders in. You'll get the orders - just tell us the facts.
-
@geguia When I ordered it didn’t even say shipping in May, I thought I would have it a week after ordering. It’s certainly not the best way to conduct business.
Mine has now been pushed back to 4th July from an initial 25th June, really considering cancelling but I’ve already waited 8 weeks.
I must admit the excitement is now not as a high as it was. -
DDontHaveACalou 15 May 2019, 09:44 UTC
The stoke is real! I also ordered the pint unaware of the delivery delay. I have lost sleep watching videos, and reading posts in forums and incessantly checking and rechecking delivery dates all of which only fuels my anticipation. I recently lost all self control and gave into buying a used earlier version (Onewheel+). Delivery expected tomorrow. I can’t remember ever being this obsessive over anything before. An impression has definitely been made. I can’t wait to begin the float life.
-
@DontHaveACalou Really pleased for you, I’m sure it’ll be great fun. I’ve put back ordering for almost a year, wanting the XR but not able to realistically spend all that money on one. When the Pint was released I decided it was time to jump on the band wagon. I’ve checked delivery dates 5 times each day, really pleased when the delivery date reduced by a week, not so impressed when it then went back 2 weeks.
I’m taking each day as it comes, still can’t realistically justify buying an XR, let’s see what happens with the delivery dates of the Pint.
Let us know how you get on with yours when it arrives.
-
Ggeguia @DontHaveACalou 17 May 2019, 21:13 UTC
@DontHaveACalou i was tempted as well but i do have to walk with my board a bit and i've read enough gripes about carrying around the one wheel XR
-
VVindigo75 19 May 2019, 15:03 UTC
Just a quick update - expected ship time for me has shifted back to 5/27 as opposed to 5/23. Per FM my board should be among first shipped, but we will see.
-
VVindigo75 20 May 2019, 19:06 UTC
From FM 1:13pm EST in response to my inquiry from this morning. (I think they meant they cannot advance the ship date, vs anticipate. That said Ill be sure to post once I get a shipping confirmation email - forgive the message formatting or typos, I should be working right now) :
Hi XXXXX
May 27th is actually the first day of shipments - you are included in the very first batch of Pint shipment.
With this said, we are unable to anticipate that shipping date.Best
OW TeamME TO THEM:
On Mon, 20 May at 7:09 AM ,
Morning my friend – looks like my ship date has dropped back off to 5/27/19.Any shot that this is a typo and I'm shipping on the 23rd ?
Fingers crossed n awesome sauce….
Thx much
-
PPanglossian @Vindigo75 20 May 2019, 19:38 UTC
This is a little scary! If the "first batch" will be shipping on the 27th, I'd bet there's a lot of people (insiders, youtuber's, etc.) that would be from the first batch. It's possible that we might just be waiting a while for these. I hope not... :( My date is still the 27th but this message seems to minimize the truthfulness of that date. I wish they'd give us production updates since we're really kickstart investors now!
-
@Panglossian You are absolutely correct, we are Kickstarter investors without actually agreeing to it. I wish they would give some updates.
-
BBrentNice @Mark Vlogs 21 May 2019, 15:53 UTC
@Mark-Vlogs I was late to find out about the Pint and didn't pre-order until last month. I was completely blindsided when my delivery date was saying late July. I bit the bullet and ordered the XR. It's the single greatest purchase I have ever made and have literally no regrets on dropping $1800 for this. If anyone is in the same boat, and on the fence about whether upgrading to the XR would be worth it, I can assure you it is. Not only will you get a superior board, you will get it within a week.

Ccchevy @rageouse 21 May 2019, 19:41 UTC
@rageouse seems all orders have slipped. Most disappointing is the lack of communication. This is not an insignificant purchase and FM should be better. Most would be understanding if the communication was forthcoming but as it is it seems shifty.
-
@Panglossian Great news, but why’s it taken so long to start building it? Does it show a shipping date or delivery date?
-
PPanglossian @Mark Vlogs 21 May 2019, 21:19 UTC
@Mark-Vlogs No, now it's back to saying in the queue and date is delayed until the 30th -
-
@Panglossian I think these are going to get pushed back again and again, I’m really disappointed in the “service” FM are giving us.
-
Yeah, it would be one thing if they were up front about charging my card and not shipping for 2 months... But, in fact, it's the other thing.
-
hi all, i'm brand spankin' new to this forum, but i thought i'd chime in on this: I ordered a Pint on the 12th (which was, i think, the day or so after launch), and my ship date was a firm May 28 up until late last week, then it slipped to May 30, and today it's May 31. every day i say a prayer to the shipping gods, hold my breath, and check again...
i don't mind being patient, since this is my first OW and i have been spending my time watching and reading everything i can get my hands on in the meantime. but it's SO HARD. it really would be nice to have an official update of some kind. even an email would be nice. i'm really trying to refrain from calling them and asking about my order, lol
-
@Franko I’m assuming they have issues, these could be Pint related or new factory related. The trouble is it’s just an assumption, it would be nice if they just stood up and gave us some information. Mine has dropped from 25th June to the 4th July. If it goes one day later I shall be cancelling and waiting until they’ve ironed out the issues, they’ve had my money for 9 weeks and I’ve heard nothing.
-
Yes, my delivery date is slipping day to day and is still showing as not even in production yet. I too am considering cancelling until they get things worked out since they never said up front that this was a crowd funding exercise. Pretty sleazy really.
-
@Rocketeer said in What’s pushing the Pint orders back?:
I too am considering cancelling until they get things worked out since they never said up front that this was a crowd funding exercise. Pretty sleazy really.
i am pretty sure i saw during the ordering process that it was a pre-order, so i was not salty about it and don't consider it a crowdfunding exercise, especially since they have two (or three) existing products in the world that are very, very popular. the money is probably not an issue for them. also, i can't imagine they are having production issues since they have fully functioning Pints -- there's plenty of videos of non-company people riding them -- so i don't know what could be causing the delay. i do wish they would at least be up front and let us know.
-
PPanglossian 24 May 2019, 17:53 UTC
I totally agree - WE NEED SOME "REAL" INFORMATION!
I don't mind waiting - but when I bought the Pint, I was getting it for my daughter so she could ride with me. Until clicking complete the purchase - I didn't know it would be 2 months away. That was very misleading!
The weather has been so bad that I haven't been too worried about it and thought we could wait until the end of May. If I would have known that it was only a preorder at the time, I might have got another XR. Now, I'm really hesitant about FM. All of the "boring town" stuff and "ride-the-rail" stuff is driving me nuts, they should be completely focused on production right now. Or tell us what's going on.
They don't seem to monitor the forums or say anything about Pint delivery. I feel bad for the poor people that are ordering now because they won't know that they will not get it until the end of Summer or possibly later. This isn't a good welcome to the OW community.
-
PPanglossian @Franko 24 May 2019, 17:55 UTC
@Franko I haven't seen anyone that actually owns a Pint post a video yet. It's been all demo'd videos. I'd love to see some actual owners videos if you know of them!
-
@Panglossian i don't think i've seen videos of actual owners, true, but there are plenty of OW youtubers who are prolific and evidently well-respected in the OW community who have given Pints supplied to them vigorous rides in all sorts of situations, and they love them. if they were dodgy, i don't think they would have sugar-coated their reviews.
-
@Franko Hi, when I ordered mine at no point was it mentioned it was a preorder, I expected it with a week and others have said the same. I mentioned this on a OneWheel post on either Twitter or Instagram and they then added to the website that orders start shipping in May, they still don’t tell you that when you order it, you’re not likely to get it for 3-4 months.
-
@Mark-Vlogs weird. i totally remember seeing it was a preorder during my ordering process, so i wasn't surprised at all. i wish i took screenshots or something, but it just didn't occur to me.
-
@Franko When did you order?
-
PPanglossian 24 May 2019, 19:49 UTC
I ordered on Mar 12th at 10am and didn't see anything about delivery times. In fact, I wrote customer service at 1pm that same day and this is what I said:
Hi guys!
I couldn't see anywhere where it says when they'd be shipping.
Are they shipping soon or was this a pre-order?
I have a trip that I'm taking my daughter to Disneyland the first week of April and would love to have it for her to ride with me!
Anyways, excited for the new board! It's going to supplement the XR nicely!
Thank you!
----They replied at 4pm that same day:
Hi Matt,
Thanks for reaching out and great to hear you are the new owner of a Onewheel Pint. This will be an awesome companion to your Onewheel+ XR. The Onewheel Pint will begin shipping May 27th. But it is well worth the wait! Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
All the best, thanks for being a fan of ours!
Cheers,
Cole**That was how I found out about May 27th. The next day I did a fake order to see if I had missed something and didn't see anything about pre-order or shipping dates. Then a couple of days later I tried it again and saw that they added in fine print that it was a pre-order. Now it says "Shipping starting in May" That's also misleading... because it's almost June and they haven't started shipping!
-
@Mark-Vlogs
May 12th.whoops, sorry -- MARCH 12th. not May, lol -
VVindigo75 25 May 2019, 13:53 UTC
I ordered within the first hour or so of sales being opened (FM has confirmed myborder ships day 1 of shipping). There was no indication of preorder that I saw and I recall specifically looked for same, given the wait I encountered when I ordered my first XR (wait went from a week to a month as production ramped up). Im not perfect tho, I could have missed it if it was kinda buried and not prominently indicated throughout the order process.
After ordering my initial ship date was May 23 (confirmed immediatly after I ordered and as such was first notice I had just placed a preorder), so its troubling they told someone else the anticipated first day of shipping to be the 27th of May. If i reach out yo FM again I will certainly be referencing the correspondences between Pan and Cole from 3/12 when I ask whybthe conflict in shipping dates. At this point though i want every one at FM working on production and not my emails lol....Additionally my ship date has slipped to 3/31/19.
All that said, the reason im not grousing more is bc of the sheer quality of the products i have received. I have 2 xrs, and just grabbed a lightly used plus for a great price and Im more than satisfied with all of them. Gents these are top quality, luxury type items imo. People use the phrases "bomb proof" in the construction and "like floating" "fresh powder" regarding ride quality, and those descriptions are well earned. Yes there is always refinement to these products (blutooth etc) but nothing that should have anyone tossing the baby with the bathwater. The waiting sucks, the communication is middling at times, but the final product should more than make up for it.
Will keep posted if my ship dates slips again.
-
update for Sat., 5/25: my board is now listed as "in production," and still listed as shipping on the 31st, which is super exciting. : O

As of today my order has slipped from July 4th to 10th. I’m at the point now where if it goes beyond the 15th I’m cancelling. The complete lack of communication is ridiculous. There seems to be time for a lot of fun at FM but not for fulfilling orders.
-
@cchevy I feel the same, I at one point was June 19th I’m now at July 8th an increase of 19 days. Not happy.
-
Ccchevy @Mark Vlogs 27 May 2019, 21:52 UTC
@Mark-Vlogs I would feel very differently if there was communication. ie. “hey guys, thanks for your order, we have gotten slammed and as such are running behind on deliveries, for the inconvenience we can offer xyz”.
-
@cchevy I agree, I’m assuming that they are unable to make as many per day as they thought, mines been pushed back another 4 days!

My response to the BS email:
“It’s not a couple more weeks; it’s 8 more weeks for my order. Which means, here in Canada summer will be half over and riding conditions ending within a couple months and onewheel closeted until next spring.
Honestly, you need to stop with the fun times and buckle down. All hands on deck should be the only motto right now, get shit done and orders fulfilled. You can’t accept people’s money for orders and sit on it for months without delivering a product.”
I suggest everyone do the same, voice your displeasure.
-
and there's this, too. i have to admit it makes me deeply feel like i'm being taken advantage of when they say "oh, straight up, we're sorry, they are going to be late, we're working so hard on them..." and then they show 6 more minutes of them goofing around and riding them...
-
PPanglossian @Franko 29 May 2019, 20:05 UTC
@Franko I know, right! I just posted on their Instagram that I wish that they'd be in working on the Pint not playing on the docks!
-
Ccchevy @Franko 29 May 2019, 20:40 UTC
@Franko exactly! And while I appreciate that they have a business to run (ie. marketing and sales) they really should be doing whatever is humanly possible to get orders filled. The build time on a board isn’t particularly long given the very few parts, and most companies would have supply chain in place before announcing something like this.
-
@cchevy I responded that they need to hire some old guys that know how to build shit, since they evidently don't. Also suggested that they move out of California to save overhead...
-
Shipping now starting in July according to the website, so not an extra 2 weeks. Appalling
-
PLOT TWIST!
i received a notice from USPS this morning, with a tracking number, showing that something left Future Motion for me yesterday, and will be delivered some time tomorrow (saturday). This is in line with the last expected delivery date i was being shown before they put out the big delay announcement the other day. The FM website is still showing a new tentative shipping date of July 4th for me, so i just don't know what to believe. but suddenly hope springs anew!
-
PPanglossian @Franko 31 May 2019, 15:36 UTC
@Franko I think they ship with FedEx for the boards. USPS would probably be something small/lighter. It's probably a certified letter saying that they're having production issues and please don't sue them for non-delivery. Here's to hoping though! I can't figure out why they would change our dates then jerk us around and send them.
-
@Panglossian yeah, the USPS delivery is confusing -- i would assume FedEx too. i wish i had more info (like size/weight), but there's nothing i can find. i already have a hat and the other swag they sent, so i'm sure it's not that. part of me is wondering/hoping it is the Pint, since i bought the limited edition sage/social club model... maybe they are getting those out first? at any rate, i will keep everyone posted, for sure.

@skyman88 a discount? They’ve had my money for 2.5 months. Accessories, T-shirts, etc.?? A postcard and 20 cent plastic toy is kind of insulting.
-
@cchevy The interest earned from the millions of dollars they’ve had in will be huge, all that and still no tangible product, I’m assuming the Pints that people are raving about have issues? FM keep saying they want the product to be right when it arrives, I guess it’s not ‘right’ yet.
-
@Mark-Vlogs my own sense is that the Pints work great, but the delay is more because of (1) the crush of huge demand and (2) the scale of parts needed to make those orders happen, in combination with (3) the move to a new production facility at the same time. all the correspondence and posts they've made seem to hint at that. they replied to me on a Youtube post i made, replying that there is literally one screw in common between the Pint and the XR, and "engineering and sourcing hundreds of individual components from all over the globe that need to be perfect and all come together at the right time" is a monumental task.
as for the money thing, yeah, that's a whole other issue. these hats, cups, and toys are nice, but a discount (store credit?) based on the interest of our 2+ month loan would be a more welcome compensation.

I just think they should have been upfront at the beginning with regards to the shipping dates. We're all more than just average customers going to get an item off the shelf at the local store. We've been bit by the OW bug and want to see them succeed. I would have gladly still ordered even knowing that it might not come for 6 months. However, I would have probably also ordered another XR so I could have my daughter ride with me. I've been listening to their promises of delivery times and thought we could be patient and wait a little longer.
I still think that they are misleading people - it says that delivery starting in July on their website. While true, that is not true for someone purchasing one today. I think that is a bad thing to do to people.

Ahhh, I think you misunderstand my intent. Given the delays I experienced when I ordered my XRs, I put no faith in the date, rather in the communicated sequencing of shipping once commenced. I am simply updating so people who ordered after me have a barometer as to when the vanguard shipment is, as of time of a given post by me, is scheduled to set sail. I would also hope/assume ship date adjustments are applied on a FIFO basis so if my date is holding, i would like to believe it a good sign...but im still largely subscribing only to sequence as set forth above. Ill def cross my fingers the current date holds, but Ill not be holding my breath lol.

If anyone is interested I’m selling iPhone 20’s
You can mail me a cheque for $1200 and I will ship when ready. Anticipating a ship date around Dec 10th 2030
-
DDaymos @keithatwood 29 June 2019, 18:19 UTC
@keithatwood if you can guarantee it will come before Christmas Day 2030 I'll take one.
My daughter will need one for her 2nd job as she will be 23 then.

VVindigo75 1 July 2019, 10:29 UTC
Ship date has slipped to 7/5
-
DDaymos @Vindigo75 1 July 2019, 11:14 UTC
@Vindigo75 they must be close
But.... how sinister would it be if they knew it would be another 4 weeks away but they push back the date manually by a few days a time.
-
@Vindigo75 I got the impression on last weeks video that they hadn’t even started building these yet, I really do hope that they get sorted out soon.
-
VVindigo75 1 July 2019, 13:03 UTC
I've just emailed asking if 7/5 is now the initial ship date for Pint units. Will circle back upon getting a reply.
-
@Vindigo75 said in What’s pushing the Pint orders back?:
Ship date has slipped to 7/5
interesting -- mine is still holding at July 8th (just checked) this morning. crossing fingers for everyone that the dates don't slip any more.
-
@geguia Yea... Announcing a 3 month delay a month after accepting orders is highly a questionable practice. Everyone who jumped on and started counting the days were left completely burned by the anticipation letdown. Hopefully FM adds a little more float in their production schedule for the next launch, or just delay the announcement until AFTER the supply chain is set. Like he said, it just takes one bad screw from a supplier...
-
DDaymos 1 July 2019, 19:26 UTC
My date was 2nd then 5th August and would bounce between the two dayss every few days..
I just checked now and it's gone to 15th August
-
DDaymos @Daymos 2 July 2019, 05:16 UTC
@Daymos it changed back to 5th August.
-
Ggeguia @Daymos 2 July 2019, 05:21 UTC

-
DDaymos 5 July 2019, 09:15 UTC
My date slipped from 6th August to 13th August last night but now it seems the dude wheres my onewheel system isnt working.
Either they have good news for us or they have a big setback and are preparing an announcement before everyone finds out manually.
-
VVindigo75 5 July 2019, 10:43 UTC
My ship date has slipped to 7/9 but indicates "in production" vs "in queue".
-
@Vindigo75 isn’t this the second time yours has been in production.
-
VVindigo75 @Mark Vlogs 5 July 2019, 14:41 UTC
@Mark-Vlogs
Probably lol, I truly don't recall at this point...

PPrestonwest @Panglossian 5 July 2019, 19:18 UTC

Same here man. Bought one for my daughters bday. She was pumped. And then........delay,delay,delay, not sure when it will ship, but one day.
-
DDaymos @Prestonwest 5 July 2019, 19:29 UTC
@Prestonwest it may still come on her birthday.... but next year.
-
Ddarry_killerb 5 July 2019, 19:40 UTC

"Investing money in this company like we did is the same as investing in the stock market, it's a gamble but I think they will pull it off. Git r did FM, we're all counting on it."
Not for me... I've invested in this to get a product in return.
You invest in the stock market to win but are aware you may also walk away with nothing
-
DDaymos 7 July 2019, 11:29 UTC
Also.. they keep saying they have changed all the parts from the other boards except for 1 screw.
Why? Why not use as much of the internal resources you have to minimise any issues?
Unless a complete change is necessary to keep the costs low?

@Daymos i just figured that everything needed to be smaller to fit in the Pint, but what do i know.
-
DDaymos @Franko 7 July 2019, 18:06 UTC
@Franko lol
Obviously.. but there are still main build parts you could still include in your design.
It dont need to be that extreme of an announcement if it means 6 months worth or unexplained delays.
-
VVindigo75 8 July 2019, 17:29 UTC
My order has slipped a day and now shows 7/10/19 as my ship date.
-
Ggeguia @Vindigo75 8 July 2019, 18:58 UTC
@Vindigo75 does your order show "in production"?
-
VVindigo75 @geguia 8 July 2019, 18:59 UTC
@geguia yes
-
Ggeguia @Vindigo75 8 July 2019, 19:51 UTC
@Vindigo75 perhaps it's another 'apology' pint toy
-
VVindigo75 @geguia 8 July 2019, 20:08 UTC
@geguia Dare to dream mon frère, dare to dream
-
VVindigo75 9 July 2019, 00:28 UTC
Now 7/11
-
Ggeguia @Vindigo75 9 July 2019, 04:08 UTC
@Vindigo75 I asked customer service to reach out to the higher ups on a statement. They're new shop isn't up and running yet. If this is the source of the pints then we need the news that production is delayed.
-
@Vindigo75 I’m sorry to hear this, when that statement came out that said “as early as Monday” would have meant they were sat in boxes ready to be shipped and that UPS/Fedex were already booked to collect. They obviously aren’t yet in that position, it’s a real shame.
-
DDaymos 9 July 2019, 08:49 UTC
Morning guys..
Whats the latest? Are we reduced to dissecting clever word play again.
Its so exhausting... this will turn us all mad lol
But we have no choice :)
-
@Daymos on my previous orders, I just stopped looking at the dates while waiting... because it led to madness.
I watched videos full of stoke and went to only checking the date once or twice a week.
-
DDaymos @skyman88 9 July 2019, 11:25 UTC
@skyman88 thank you for the great advice.
I'm actually more obsessed with this weeks orders than mine in August.
Once they are rolling out to everyone i think i would relax more as i know its truly in progress.
Either way it will take me a week more since its being shipped to the UK
