Freeboard bindings on onewheel

Hello folks,

I recently saw on FB, some dude made DIY flight fins mod that extended them out for a wider stance. That made me think of putting freeboard bindings installed instead. Has anyone tried this?! Or am I psycho?

I'm thinking of kite boarding foot straps. That pretty much makes me a psycho too. Hospitals are too damn expensive these days...
