    I know there're a 1000 stand threads, and I didn't know where to piggyback this one, so I'm adding one more.

    I just bought this $16 guitar stand for my XR, and it's perfect, very solid & stable, collapsible and will fit in a pack - I'm happy with it.

    @Franko

    Well, okay . . . but I'm going to have to blur-out Boardy's face in the photo, I don't want him to become an abduction target for online traffickers.

    We can't be too careful these days with our little ones!

    @Kielanders that seems reasonable!

    Here's Boardy in his new crib in the basement.

    The new stand is collapsible down to nothing, fits perfectly into the backpack I carry for errands, is heavily rubberized, and would have to take a pretty good knock to tip over. The metal is nicely finished, but if you're using on a hardwood floor you may want to use a mat because of the weight of the 30# OW.

    The wife's telling me he needs to live down there.

    Boardy's telling me the wife needs to live in the basement, and he upstairs.

    . . . who to believe, who to believe?

    @Kielanders I think we need to see a picture of Boardy upstairs as well to make a final decision.

    I like where you're going with this . . . let me rearrange some furniture and get back with you.

    :o)

    (by the way Mark - looked to IM you - if you don't have a board yet, deep breath - it's worth the pain and wait, been there, took me 8 months - it WILL happen - just gear-up & stay safe when it does until you get your sea-legs - take your hits on grass the first 50 - stay strong bro!)

    @Kielanders so can’t wait for mine to be with me, I ordered it initially from FM and thought it would be with me in March, cancelled beginning of June, reordered and put a deposit down for the first batch that come to the UK dealers. It’s actually going to be cheaper this way as I won’t have all the customs and import taxes to pay. Just waiting now. I shall certainly be trying it in the garden before attempting the local grass park and I shall be wearing as much protection as I can fit on my body.
